The EMS Team Fund

Supporting our heroes when they need us most.

As part of its mission to support EMS professionals and their families, the EMS Fund will provide a $2,500 death benefit to help ease the burden during a time of loss.

Dedicated to advancing the practice and impact of emergency medical services across the Commonwealth by supproting the continued education and professional development of EMS providers

EMS professionals respond to crises every day. This program ensures that if a crisis comes to them, they are not alone. By supporting the people who serve our communities, we strengthen the future of EMS across Massachusetts.

An employee is eligible for a grant if they meet these conditions:

• The employee is in good standing of a Provider with an active membership with MAA.
• The employee has experienced financial hardship due to a qualifying event that happened within the past 90 days. Eligible dependents are defined by MAAF as Children or legal spouse of the employee.
• A qualifying event is the death of an employee or eligible dependent.
